You really didn't "have" to wear one at any time for pickup or drop off.  I've not worn one outside like that in ages, and no one seems to give a damn.  I've not been the only one.  What are they going to do, tell you to leave and not take your kid with you?[/quote]

You haven't had to do this for two years. Schools buildings weren't open until April 2020 at best. Masks weren't a thing at the start of the pandemic.

And it wasn't theater its an airborne virus. It reduced transmission when we didn't have a vaccine, when we didn't know anything.

So stop your martyrdom.
