Heartland! It is a Canadian drama set in cowboy country in Alberta, but focuses on a strong female lead and her family. They really draw out the romance over a long time, so you get very excited when your favorite characters get together! Plus, breathtaking scenery, and many funny scenes. (I'm a superfan if you can't tell.)
OP bumping this thread from many months in the future... I watched and really enjoyed CLOY, and yes, it ticked all the warm fuzzy boxes. So, as promised, thank you all! Some others I worked through: Normal People (far from PG, and not really "heart warming" but I loved it nonetheless), Shtisel (a DCUM recommendation -- not a romance, really, but a completely endearing and wonderful show that really opened my eyes), Never have I ever (I can't really get excited about teenagers hooking up but the show is lovely and funny), All Creatures Great and Small -- which does have a romance --, and Miss Scarlett and the Duke, which also has a very very understated budding romance and I am eager to see future seasons. I'm going to try this Heartland show now. If anyone has other recommendations, keep them coming, I really appreciated this thread when I first created it :)
