Funny - you had no problem when Democrats like Peterson were sponsoring legislation to force schools statewide to remain open regardless of rising cases. Now its masks - its an issue?

I absolutely had a problem. Difference is Petersen is my senator. I can actually do something about him.

Actually[b] I'd say he's winning.[/b] He came out against school mask mandates within days of taking office. And now a new bill and amendment with BIPARTISAN SUPPORT is passing lightening fast in his state assembly supporting his ban on masks. Youngkin is looking prescient and proactive. Unlike someone else in a white house that is exactly...18 miles from his family farm. The Biden team could take some lessons on supporting effective and needed policies not just wishlists which get no support across the aisle.[/quote]

Exactly!  Republicans were stupidly fighting masks and vaccines when vax rates were still low, when hospitalizations and deaths were sky high.  It didn't make sense then.  But now that a lot more Americans are vaccinated, now that the hospitalizations and deaths are dropping it is safer to lessen restrictions and mandates.  It's mind boggling that Republicans don't seem to understand any of that.[/quote]
