Owen is as Welsh as Connor is Irish. Oliver is Norse/French in origin. Caleb and Benjamin, as you note, are Hebrew names. So actually, Henry is the only name on this list that is "very British" in the way that you mean. IMO, Owen is the best match with Connor.[/quote] Wales is part of Great Britain.
