I'm Catholic and this makes no sense at all.  The things our church did are deserving of anger.  Full stop.  No one is reserving that anger solely for the Church, either.  They condemn it wherever they see it.   If the protestants have avoided scrutiny, it will catch up to them.  But bad is bad, and our church has a unique problem -- that a global hierarchy conspired to hide it.  The protestant churches, by their structure, will probably never have this because for the most part, their ministers are answerable to the local congregations.[/quote]
