Of course, as an adult, I don't speak that way now, but sometimes when I get together with my sister (who also spoke with a blaccent), we'll regress to that way of speaking just because that's how we used to communicate. When we do this, my DH and kids think it's super weird and laugh because for them, it's just so unusual to see this kind of thing. But, where I grew up, it wasn't unusual to see non black people speak this way.[/quote] Amen sister [/quote]
