But I'm sure those were "milder" deaths. [/quote] Deaths went up in VA due to the high number of unvaccinated people in the southern areas of the state. The vast, vast majority of deaths could have been prevented by people getting vaccinated. Plain and simple. This is not a masking issue. Yes, yes, I know that people in southern VA are not masking as well. But studies have shown that most of the masks that people are wearing (non-N95-type masks) do not work well against the virus. The key is vaccination. It is time to let vaccinated students/staff opt out of masks.[/quote]
