In general restaurants kids meals include, chicken nuggets, hamburger/cheeseburger, hot dog, grilled cheese, Mac m cheese, and sometimes a cheese quesadilla….. all served with fries. No fruit and no veg. Off the top of my head the only place I can think of that offers a fruit or veg is Olive Garden. It’s not hard to offer one healthier option and offer fruit or veg instead of fries.
I agree. One restaurant that does kids menus well is Nandos.
Yes. Exactly. Which is why when we're at Rio, we usually end up at Nandos instead of CPK or that burger place. It's easier for everyone to eat healthy at Nandos. Let the market decide though. Don't force it
I had a couple of minutes and took an online stroll through the RIO restaurants and looked at their kids menus. Yard House, Cooper Canyon Grill, California Pizza kitchen, Guapo, Silver diner all offered at least one healthy choice already. You can order a vegetable side with any kids meal. I agree, let the market decide and the Montgomery county needs to stop over reaching and looking for problems were problems don’t exist.
