I'm a DC resident and I love the protections rolled in. Love the masks, love the vaccine mandate, love the free and copious at-home testing, and love the benefits of living in DC like universal pre-school, paid leave, free transportation the whole pandemic, protections and moratoriums for the entire public.

If all that is anathema to you...why not just move to NOVA or further out? Its cheaper and has almost the exact opposite atmosphere as they just killed off the mask mandate, voted out a candidate with the same propositions, no protections, and pretty soon - no abortions.[/quote]

DC resident here.  And do you just love how all of the mandates have killed retail, businesses, and restaurants and bars?  Ugh you are part of the reason I want to move.  I'm a multi generation Washingtonian, I shouldn't have to move but alas might be the only way. [/quote]
