I have watched more television series in the past two years than in the past thirty. Please help me find some that are have minimal sex, gore, gratuitous profanity. Liked: Period pieces: Downtown Abbey, The Paradise, Mr. Selfridge, Poldark, Call the Midwife, The Crown, All Creatures Great and Small, Line of Separation K-Dramas: Crash Landing on You, Descendents of the Sun, This is my First Life, Chocolate, Something in the Rain, One Spring Night Sci-Fi: Lost in Space. Away, Stowaway(movie) Soapy Dramas: A Place Like Home Found hard to take: Ted Lasso, VEEP (funny but so profane) The Americans, A French Village (fascinating plot lines but too much sex and violence) The Irishman (movie, but so violent) Any suggestions that meet my criteria would be appreciated! TIA Just curious why cursing is a problem? Are you super religious?

OP here: I'm not limiting myself to highbrow stuff a la PBS, so I'm open to lighter shows. However, too much of the wit in Ted Lasso and VEEP relies on extreme or very frequent profanity, which is a shame because the characters are interesting and the language adds unnecessary coarseness.
