Some of us are worried for our kids who have illnesses where getting covid would be terrible for them so we do not want to get it.
I wish people would understand that.

The lack of empathy is astounding. 
My family members continue to mask outside if we know that we will be near other people. My mother has a serious lung issue and lives with us. Covid would be a death sentence for her. My mother in law has cancer. If we want to see her, we can't have so much as the sniffles. I don't expect everyone around us to mask, but I do appreciate it when it happens (my daughter's riding instructor knows about our family health issues and masks around us - her thoughtfulness is meaningful)[/quote]

These are very unfortunate circumstances and I'm sorry you have to deal with them. But, it is up to your mother and MIL to take care of themselves. You seem to recognize that, which is appreciated. [/quote]
