The parents always have the option of homeschooling.

I'm a little astounded by how much people take public education for granted.  It's an amazing thing - right up there with the right to vote.  I was a Peace Corps Volunteer and had my eyes opened to how much school is valued when it's not available to everyone.  The Denicore's should be ashamed.
