No one is saying all teachers are lazy but to deny that some teachers are lazy is just ignorance. My child has a lot of great teachers this year but had a horrible one last year. This was not a covid issue but she has was always known as a lazy teacher and it got much much worse during virtual learning because there was little supervision. You can't be that myopic to think that some of your colleagues are not like this.

When people make blanket statements about teachers, like the OP’s assumption that decisions are made because of teachers’ laziness, it hurts ALL teachers. I know more teachers ready to quit right now than willing to stay. All this anti-teacher rhetoric takes a toll on the many dedicated, hard-working professionals who have relied on creativity and countless hours to reach students the last two years. Sure, there are lazy teachers. There are even more who are doing a stellar job in unprecedented times for teachers. [/quote]

So it’s the parents fault for getting their kids vaccinated and then ultimately getting Covid? Let’s just take a reality break here. It’s not the parents fault that the school board votes to close the schools ever.[/quote]

Parents are responsible when they are making choices that put their kids and all of us at risk.   The school board got slammed for closing last year.  So, they remain open and now it’s a hot mess.  Anyone who kept up with the vaccines knew that they were to reduce symptoms bit to stop Covid.  Do your part or don’t complain. [/quote]

Gosh you are really dense. We had our children vaccinated we were told by our president that if we got vaccinated we wouldn’t get Covid. The children lost 18 months of instruction last year. The children have sacrificed enough. If you’re scared to go outside of your house just stay inside. We’re done sacrificing the education of our children for grown adults.[/quote]
