DH has an aunt that gives us an extremely large tray of homemade cookies every year. I need to tell her to stop without being rude. - When I tell her she doesn't have to do that, she insists that the kids like them (hey eat 1 or 2 when we visit her, but they really don't like sweets) - She is older and I know it hard to do so much baking - She has a limited income and I know it is costly to buy all the ingredients - I have been struggling with my weight - DH has been struggling with his weight
OP, you admit that you have already asked her to stop. I agree with others that you just need to accept them and then get rid of them. If you do anything else it's kind of rude, and then you put pressure on her to think of a different gift. However costly you imagine the baking is, I assure you it is cheaper than anything else she thinks you might like.
