I had a college roommate who looked like that and guys flocked to her. I think it was the combination of being cute enough for them to want to have sex with her and ugly enough to make her easily approachable. It was just dating, never a long term relationships.. She was also very sexually open, so that probably helped tip the scales, but the lesson here is to not underestimate the approachability factor.
