It is so tough.This is so exhausting. When my older kid applied, I was shocked to see athletes writing their own tickets. I thought I am mentally stronger this time with my second kid but once again, it stings. Academics, high scores, incredible EC, but at the end, not special enough, that is how my second kid feels, watching his friends getting offers from ivy because they are athletes. It stings bad. Yup yup yup, the sting especially. In our case, was more likely kids who were legacy or stood out in politics or moreso on an instrument. Sending you some extra mental strength. it's going to be a long RD. Hang in there![/quote]
