eviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13

The Book of Leviticus in the Old Testament has two references condemning homosexuality: "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22) and "If a man lies with a man as one lies with woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads" (Leviticus 20:13).

I think the point is while it is a sin the Bible doesn't say it is a sin that will prevent you from entering heaven.

Our church teaches to hate the sin and love the sinner. All have fallen short. Some think visible sins are worse, but the unwed couple who ended up pregnant didn't do anything worse than the unwed couple who did. Some see a pregnant single woman and judge her. In our faith we don't judge. We leave the decision of who goes to heaven up to the Lord and teach His word and love one another.[/quote]
