Remember Brabrand’s whole “the main thing is the main thing” shtick when he was hired?

People thought he meant academics and educational quality.

Then he realized he was dealing with a bunch of busy-body politicians and pivoted to “equity is at the center of everything we do.”  The guy has no backbone at all, and was happy to embrace a bunch of meaningless BS (and hire Chief Equity Officers) as long as it took the pressure off him to actually deliver results.

They have so little time left to straighten out this mess before FCPS is irretrievably tarnished. The incompetence at Gatehouse and the hypocrisy on the School Board is staggering.

This.  I used to think I'd want to become a FCPS teacher... but after trying to decipher the garbage in that link that they expect teachers to regurgitate in the classroom, there is no freaking way.  I wonder what teachers actually think about all of this nonsense.[/quote]
