I’ve had mastitis 6 times. ER for it once and urgent care once and they almost sent me t
The hospital. It takes 24-48 hours for antibiotics to kick on. Last time I took antibiotics when it started coming on I still spiked a 103 fever and was deathly ill with chills 12-24 hours AFTER I popped the antibiotics. My doc keeps me stocked at home with them because it comes on fast and furious for me but it is no joke. I’m sorry OP. Sympathy from me for you, your DH sucks!  [/quote]

Love that you assume I had a real choice. Part of the reason I got it was oversupply. My kids loved to Nurse and refused formula. So trying to transition a breastfed baby to formula abruptly at like 12months when I’m still giving them most of their calories is the exact opposite of enjoyable. Breastfeeding requires considerable sacrifice and it doesn’t make me a better mom than anyone else but it also doesn’t make me a martyr or stupid. [/quote]
