If you are really interested in hearing what Bannon said leading up to January 6 -- go directly to his podcasts which are just audio versions of his livestreamed shows.

BANNON NEVER called for violence.  He has always advocated peaceful protests/political activism through voting and getting involved in local politics.

I hate injustice and hate how the Biden Administration is weaponizing DOJ against Bannon and other political opponents.  As a country, we should be afraid for the attack on our 1st Amendment and attempt to silence political opponents.[/quote]

That is separate from January 6, which was a failed insurrection.  The Jan 6 committee wants to ask him questions about the events leading up to and the day of.  And he said No.  So now they are holding him in contempt.  None of this is something that our country should fear.  This is not about silencing political opponents.  [/quote]
