[/quote] +1 While it’s true no club has any loyalty to players, teammates usually have loyalty to each other, and often coaches do actually care about the team and helping kids grow. I would never permit my kid to leave a team mid-year just because he wants to hang out more with his school friends on a different team. I’d be unimpressed with the values of any parent that did this. I think it’s absolutely fine, though, to see if the coach of the other team is interested in having your kid practice or guest with the team in some tournaments. [/quote]
