The sewage system in the UK is much more archaic than here in the US. Often it goes untreated into waterways. Literally just dumped in the rivers or the sea. Our waste water if you live in a city goes to water treatment plants. The bacterial issues with milk are handled there. It's absolutely fine. That's why we can have garbage disposals for food in our sinks and they can't. Sheesh[/quote]
