It's like naming a street Washington, Franklin, or similar. Tell them that they don't fully understand the language. There's even a very large insurance company called - John Hancock. Actually, I don't even understand why you would need to explain a street name that is neither vulgar nor inappropriate to your non-English speaking parents. If you're an adult, I would imagine that you're free to make decisions without your parents regarding what is likely your biggest financial investment. This is such a strange post.
