There's a lot of selection going on here. A student whose primary goal is to end up in finance or high powered business is not likely to choose Hopkins undergrad, but that doesn't mean Hopkins doesn't offer a high quality degree (even for a subject like Economics). As my time there in graduate programs, a large majority of Hopkins students were planning to go on to graduate school and their placement was excellent. [/quote]
