They're also concierge doctors more often than not. [/quote] Speaking just for me, I have a concierge doctor and I still love my health insurance. I may pay out of pocket to see my physician (and honestly, it’s worth every penny, what a joy to have a doctor who makes house calls) but if I'm referred to a specialist my insurance picks it up. If I had to have surgery, my insurance covers it. It’s not binary. [/quote]
