Word is Barca is hoping to relocate to the urban DC outskirts. Otherwise time to bid farewell and close shop.
I hadn't heard this. But it's not surprising. They've been in business for several years at this point and appear to have failed to produce a competitive program even at the mid level.
Like any club they have good teams and bad teams. This area has a very weird obsession with wanting to see new clubs fail.
What is considered Barca's best team(s)?
2003 boys blue aren't bad 2004 boys yellow is good 2006 boys yellow is good 2010 boys blue isn't bad 2011 boys garnet isn't bad 2004 girls blue isn't bad
2008 boys yellow is good
It's definitely a different story with boys teams. There are 3 boys teams at nearly every age group, with the top team being pretty competitive. I'd call that a success for a new club. Girls side is not so successful. At most 1 team per age group. Some girls age groups have no teams and some teams are combined ages 2010 & 11s, 2009 & 08s. The 2004 girls team is the only one that's been able to keep a full roster and be competitive. It's hard to see how Barca can keep the girls program going without combining with another club that already has some girls teams.
