All my friends liked her growing up. My dad is very successful and is very admired by his circles. They were very neglectful and horrible to me as parents. As an adult we have a complicated relationship. While I would want to make sure they received good medical care in their old age, I don’t think I could bring myself to plan an elaborate celebration of life for them.
