My high school in the 90s had one on one fights but a brawl like this would have led to expulsion and arrest. You rich people in Alexandria have a shocking tolerance for exposing your children to violence.
GMAB.The group absolutely was ACPS students. Everyone already knows this. Do EHS kids and SSSAS kids go to Bradlee after school, sure, but not in the sheer numbers of ACHS students. And if you have ever been to Bradlee in between 3-4pm on a school day you would know this. If you have ever been at the Bermuda Triangle of Quaker/King/Braddock at 3:30pm on a school day, you see the ACHS students pouring out onto King and walking to Bradlee. There are a lot of kids. You don't see as many coming from Minnie Howard, they would come from Braddock and walk in from the back by the barber shop, not down King in front of Safeway. When police responded yesterday, it was reported by ACPD that there were 3 dozen kids at McDonalds still; 36 kids. The student shot was a 14 year ACPS student. Not sure if he is in 9th or 10th grade, but Minnie Howard students often have classes up at ACHS and go back and forth. There has not been anything reported about the shooter other than the shooter fled and hasn't been arrested yet.
