I have a Jewish friend who is teaching at a Catholic ES and she very much enjoys it. She respects the beliefs of the school but isn't expected to teach anything to do with the Catholic faith. It really depends on the school. I am not pretending that this is the norm but there are plenty of Catholic schools that are not dogmatic. You just need to look at the specific school and understand their position.
Could you name them? I mean dogma is literally part of what you learn at Catholic school.
Right. I would be shocked to learn of a catholic school that doesn't have some sort of religious service/chapel scheduled at least 1-2 times a week
Scheduled doesn’t mean you have to attend. Even in the 1980s, the Hindu and Muslim girls at my school were exempt from weekly Mass. They were allowed to sit in the library or the courtyard if the weather was nice.
Everyone has to attend Mass at my dd's middle - Catholic or not.
Who watched the Hindu and Muslim girls while everyone else was at mass? Doesn't sound very safe for those children.
