Dems create authoritarian states.
Republicans are liars. They have to be, because their policies are toxic. That’s why Republicans lie about stuff like this. To the extent it’s Orwellian. War is peace. Freedom is Slavery. Jonah Goldberg, Republican: liberals are authoritarians. Lies. The truth is, it is authoritarian states that are the problem, and modern US liberal Dems are anti-authoritarian, while Republicans are pro-authoritarian. But Republicans have to lie about that.
First of all, you’re wrong. Second, you live amongst many, many middle-of-the-road folks who tend to lean right for the sake of fiscal responsibility and national security. Speaking like you do only alienates them, pushes them deeper within, and makes your side look like terrorists willing to hurt anyone and anybody to get your way. Note: the TX law is ridiculous and shouldn’t be upheld Love, your friendly neighborhood Republican
NO Republicans are not the party of "fiscal responsiblity". They stood by and let Trump steal and grift how many 100 of millions of $ while in office. Election lies cost and are still costing taxpayers $600 million and counting. Spare us the garbage you are spewing. They are not in any way fiscally responsible. Ron Johnson and Mo Brooks and Ted Cruz are perfect examples of grifters.
Um, Republicans aren’t trying to ruin our currency and put our great-grandchildren into additional debt with a $3.5 trillion spending “package”
You call it “spending”, I call it “investing.” Time will tell which it is.
100 yrs of history has shown us that supply side economics is a failure. Tax cuts help when the tax is super high, but the rates prior to Trump tax cuts were not considered "high". These tax cuts for the super rich were completely unnecessary. As for the tax cuts on the corporations: when this was being discussed years ago, I started a thread about how these corporations will not create jobs with the tax cuts but will buy back stocks. I have been in the private industry for 20+ yrs and saw this happen time and again. And.. that is exactly what happened with the Trump tax cuts. The R party is only "fiscally conservative" when it comes to liberal causes like social welfare, but not when it comes to corporate bailouts and subsidies, all of which does nothing for the working man. They only enrich the already rich. -former R
