Agree with above. Why a top ENCL team enters a tournament like Rush is beyond me (looking at you, McLean).
As a coach once told me after I asked why play teams that do not challenge the kids ….it shows we are a strong club
You guys are crazy. Last week you complained about McLean entering the August cup, and the week before the Loundun cup. now you are complaining about this one. There are only so many local tournaments available so I guess local clubs with good teams should just not play at all or pay a fortune to travel to Texas or Florida where Covid is running rampant? Sheesh. Is OGBC acceptable in your book? Would that be ok for ECNL teams to enter? Probably not as their top flight has mostly non ECNL teams….get a grip. When the alternative is a practice or intraclub scrimmage a local tournament is as decent an alternative as any… The tournament organizers are to blame for any lopsided scores. How about you create a different set of brackets to prevent any lopsided scores…..Having only 1 bracket is going to lead to outcomes just like what you are seeing. But then I guess you would say it’s McLean responsibility to make sure competitive teams enter the tournament….
Who you yelling at? You think the parents have a say n what tournaments the team plays?
