People who make 500k a year don't really know how people making 5M a year live. But someone making 5M a year usually knows what it's like to make 500k a year unless they are old money and lived a sheltered life growing up, which is obviously not the case for the OP. Now, the OP could be one of those people who started feeling guilty about making money, and decided not to move or spend it, and is still in a neighborhood surrounded by people who make 1/10th or 1/100th what they make in a year, and therefore suddenly find that there is no one he/she can talk to. But this problem has a very simple and practical solution - move. [/quote]
