My 16 year old DD has been bleeding almost non-stop since getting her second shot. While she has always had short cycles and heavy and prolonged periods, this is obviously concerning. Her ped won't see her until she sees a hematologist, which hopefully will be next week. I'm not freakimg out, but it is concerning. My first period after my J&J lasted almost 20 days, but I'm 53, so don't think much about my weird cycles--they're all over the place. I posted about my DD on a different thread about this topic and it was deleted, so I assume this one will be too, but I am not a troll. This is happening.
I believe you! I bled for 49 days straight after my first shot and my most recent period lasted 11 days. (Previously, periods were all reliably 4 days long.) I’m not freaking out about it anymore, either, but it was a horrendous experience initially. I hope things resolve for your DD soon!
