I went to Sidwell, which IS allegedly nationally known, and I can tell you that it simply doesn't come up in conversation and has not helped me in my career. College admissions officers are very familiar with all the DC area public and private schools so from a college admissions perspective being "known" or not is irrelevant.[/quote]
