The rapid antigen tests are pretty accurate for people with symptoms -- much fewer false negatives if you have symptomatic covid than for asymptomatic people. Good enough to start, certainly. If that's positive, you could either just assume it's correct or go get a PCR test.[/quote]

Not quite correct. 
If you have symptoms, you do need to follow-up a negative rapid antigen with a PCR, since 1/3 false negative.
If you don't have symptoms, but have exposure, I'd go straight to PCR, since rapid antigen has 1/2 false negative there.
