She was a great player but Rapinoe is the face of the USWNT. Rapinoe won the golden boot over Morgan. There was a three way tie. Rapinoe, Morgan and Ellen White had 6 goals. In a tie the gold boot is determined by assists, then by minutes per goal. Rapinoe and Morgan tied in assists with Rapinoe having played 426 minutes and Morgan 490. Some question both Rapinoe because she took all the penalties(3 pks, one free kick and 2 goals from the field) and Morgan had 5 goals in one game and only one goal after that game. [/quote]
