Will your 3 year old be in preschool when the baby is born? If so, especially with delta coming, there is a very real possibility that your three year old will come home snd bring covid to the baby. Covid is very dangerous for newborns. I am originally from a country where delta is now spreading. 45% of the population was fully vaccinated when the delta variant hit. My cousin’s cousin has four kids - 3 which go to school in person and a newborn. 5 year old got covid. Brought it home. My cousin’s cousin got covid from 5 year old and passed to to baby. Baby has been in PICU for at least three weeks (not sure what status is now). Mom (my cousin’s cousin) unfortunately died. All four children are orphaned. Don’t let that be you. Get the vaccine to protect yourself and pass the antibodies to your newborn who will be extremely vulnerable to covid. [/quote]
