+1 I've personally known 2 families who made that decision with their sons. Both committed suicide. Very hard decision, but I wouldn't do it.[/quote]

You also don’t know if these men would have committed suicide in any case.

PP here. Believe me, I get it. We have anxiety, depression and autism in our extended family. Will still say, based on my observations of friends' sons, I would not kick out a child unless supports are in place. Same if I had a child with a chronic physical illness or intellectual disability who couldn't function independently. [/quote]
