I've been chatting with parents at pickup and someone sneezes or coughs. We're not distanced. When it gets noisy, we stand about a foot apart to hear each other. They're probably not sick, but if they were, why are the masks not reducing the spread of viruses or cough/sneeze molecules?[/quote] I’ve never talked to anyone at pickup from a one foot distance, nor has anyone ever coughed or sneezed on me. So no, I don’t believe that outdoor masking is going to have a meaningful impact on viral transmission between parents. [/quote]
