Who in this world cannot make a sandwich?
People driving from the Rockies back home to MD.
Pretty sure there are food stores near the Rockies to pick up sammich fixins so sammiches can be made ahead or the passengers can make custom sammiches to pass the time. How do so many sandwich shops survive? Really, who is going out and buying a sandwich everyday for lunch or dinner? Everything I make is 10x better than what I buy when dining out, occaisional outliers are very pricey or exotic.
Nope. I’ll take jimmy johns. Not buying a loaf a broad, pound of meats, head of lettuce, condiments Etc. to now try and manage, store, and take with us all over the country into and out of hotels, in the car for a long road trip. What in the world. As if traveling with kids isn’t enough- now I need to pick the kitchen and pantry too? I’ll take some snacks, but anything past that, no thanks. We manage to eat decent on the road. Even if that means Turkey Tom, no Mayo.
