In high schools, staff and students should all be vaccinated by fall and should not have to wear masks. I also don't understand the argument of "many of them have younger siblings at home who can't get vaccinated yet." Those age groups were last in line to for vaccine trials because they are the least likely to get seriously ill. The risk of transmission from a vaccinated person to an unvaccinated person is also very low. So it seems crazy to make vaccinated high school staff and students wear masks -- which doesn't really FURTHER reduce the risk -- because some people live with individuals who are not vaccinated.
