Yes. He skillfully used a provision in CA law that allowed to charge expenses after the date of legal separation to the community estate. So the longer he draws out the divorce proceedings and runs up expenses, the less she gets.

And there were apparently numerous cases of him telling her she could take the kids at Christmas, Easter, Halloween and then him canceling at the last minute after she had everything all prepared. Truly vile.[/quote]
