Personally, I would not say no, because why would I worry about him cheating on me? Even if his ex came by and tried to hit on him, I trust him to say no thank you. Clearly he likes and loves me more than he likes/loves her - I'm the one he married. Even if you can't imagine other folks' motivations, you should give it a try.
