I’m sure 1.5 would look lovely but, at some point, I do think a stone much larger would start to look like costume jewelry. Honestly though, I told my husband exactly what I wanted and it’s pretty much what he proposed with. If you have any doubts maybe you can talk to your gf directly about what her dream ring would look like (metal, stone size etc). [/quote]
