Hillary is a better candidate now than in 08 because she has foreign policy experience. The best thing going for her is that she has little if any responsibility for the Obama economic mess.
Actually I think the decision not to regulate hedge funds was made by the Clinton White House at the behest of Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, et al. Fannie and Freddie were full of former Clinton WH staff. The 2008 meltdown had a lot in common with the Titanic: many players had to screw up and did. She was not part of that decision but we did get 2 for the price of 1 so some of the stink is on her. Not to mention all the other baggage and drama that the Clintons brought. Then there's all the money that has been donated to Bill's Global Whatever Fund by anonymous sources. Not to mention the unmined data in the Clinton Library. She may look like the Glinda the Good Witch of the South now but there are a lot shadowy figures around the Clintons.
