Well if you hate the judgment like that on here, then you wont do well at these country clubs.  it's ALL about judging and identifying the social climbers and steering clear of the social leech types.  So people are going to notice.  If you're okay with that, join. If you cant stand people raising an eyebrow- well, you're not going to suddenly find acceptance and "no judgement" at a country club of all places. [/quote]

Most people, particularly at Kenwood, are the exact opposite. Sure you will have bad eggs everywhere, but good lord don't just spew crap that isn't true.

Why do people on this site frown at people who want to play golf!? There are no good public courses remotely convenient to the DC area. The fact that I joined a club wasn't to feel superior, it was to play golf when I want, at a nice course, will little delay or congestion. [/quote]
