With a huge waiting list, there's no need to pander to the most forward-leaning.  Feel free to leave, they will fill those vacancies.  Your argument about pandering runs both ways.

Rather than berating the board members, remember they volunteered to serve even knowing how much work it is.  Remember this, and step up to run for an open position next year if you are unhappy.  You voted for these fellow members to serve and they are all making the decisions they believe are best for their particular pool.  It's easy to throw spitballs from the sidelines.   Constructive feedback, sure, share your opinion.  Don't be a jerk about it. [/quote]

Immediate PP here.  How am I being a jerk?  I’m venting on an anonymous forum and not naming names.  We only became members the year before the pandemic.  Partly I’m just worried how the pool can remain solvent.  Something doesn’t add up.[/quote]
