This is the part where Elrich "says" they are using these vacant positions to save money, or deploy to other areas temporarily. There is no reason that interviews could not have been ongoing via Zoom for both libraries and parks and rec. Everywhere else is doing it. But he knows MoCo residents really like their libraries.

So someone decided to save some $$$ and not interview and have librarians or other library staff work virtually or get work done in the physical libraries.

I can already tell librarians have pulled e-resources out of the subscription services to get ready for physical reopening, because I use these ebooks all the time now.

An, yes, I am a librarian (but not for MoCo) and I am used to interpreting administrative doublespeak no matter what the politics. [/quote]
