[/quote] In our old. boring AU park colonial we have original slate roof / original windows (with storms). We have had a energy audit and they were not surprised that there was little to recommend. We have radiator heat with sensors on each radiator so that each room can be a different temperature. I also think when you talk "energy efficiency" you need to consider total cost to the environment. What is the cost of making new windows? You can not replace the hardwoods that were used when ours were made. [/quote]
