We despise our Acadia (but we have the 2014 version)... big money pit.  Spent over $2,800 in the past two years trying to solve loud thunking noise in front suspension or steering column.  Three separate visits to the dealership and over $2,800 later and everything they've told us we needed to do to solve the issue has been an utter failure.  Driving the Acadia now is like some sort of mental torture.

As FWIW, the above $$$ doesn't includes thousands we've spent on other problems.  We've vowed to never buy a GMC/Buick/Chevy again because this car is so disappointing.  This is the 6th car I've owned and hands down the worst.

Has your dealership looked into you ball bearings on your vehicle?  I had a Buick and had a similar issue and it was the ball bearings.  I do like my Buick and find the car vet reliable overall.[/quote]
